Allure magazine has joined AARP in supporting women at all ages to “bust the stigma of aging” and elevate the attitudes and position of all women. As part of the Anti-Aging Campaign to change the vernacular on aging, Allure cites 12 Myths About Women and Aging.   The magazine argues that gaps continue to exist among millennials, Gen Xers, and Boomers, there are fewer than traditionally suggested.  According to the study 64% of Millennials and Gen Xers, and 75% of Boomers believe in “healthy aging” according to the same study.  Importantly, these attitudes have a sizable impact on individuals and society Researchers at Harvard and Yale found that people who feel old tend to age faster, and those who think aging means declining health tend to develop cardiovascular and memory problems at higher rates.  So, embrace it!  Take care of your mental and physical health and live your best life at any age.
